Grilled Banana Dessert from the Pâtissier with the SPICY MAPLE SUGAR MCHEF

    • 2 tablespoons of SPICY MAPLE SUGAR MCHEF
    • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
    • 4 unpeeled bananas
    • 4 squares of chocolate Bitter, grated
    • 4 teaspoons of Amaretto
    • Accompaniment of vanilla ice cream


  1. Cooking, BBQ TIME!
    1. Light the BBQ with high intensity, clean grids, lightly grease the grates and close the lid to distribute the heat evenly at 400 degrees F.
    2. Open the peel of bananas in the horizontal direction (length).
    3. Place the bananas, cut side down, on the center of grill. Grill for 2 minutes or until grill marks appear. Using a pair of tongs, turn them over and cook for 5 more minutes, or until the skin pulls away from the bananas.
    4. Then on foil placed on the top grill of the BBQ in indirect cooking, add all sweet ingredients over bananas. Close the lid of the BBQ and let the sugars melt for 10 minutes or until the chocolate is coating bananas.
    5. Time to savor this delicious dessert, place bananas on a serving platter and accompany with vanilla ice cream sprinkled with the SPICY MAPLE SUGAR MCHEF; lightly burned ice cream with a torch. It’s simply divine!
