BBQ SALMON THAILAND MCHEF WAY! SO DELICIOUS

Ingredients
  • In a hermetic bag or airtight container, mix all ingredients:
    • 2 tablespoons of MCHEF THAILAND Herbs and Spice Blend
    • 1/4 cup BLACK SHANK LIME&LEMON-FLAVORED MAPLE SYRUP
    • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
    • Zest and juice of an orange
    • 4 fresh salmon fillets, boneless with skin, 1/2 lbs. each

     

     

Préparation
      • Refrigerate and let marinate for at least 1 hour. The longer is the marinade time, the more results in terms of “magic” the tastes will enhance in the palate and savors will take all its senses.

        Cooking BBQ:

        • Turn on the BBQ to high intensity to 400 degrees F, clean the grates thoroughlys, lightly grease the grates and close the lid to distribute the heat evenly.
        • *Place the fillets on the side of the flesh, on the main grid (direct cooking). Cook fillets in quadrillé (diagonal left, diagonal right. 2 minutes of each sides to give a nice coloration and repeat on the side of the skin to make the skin crispy. Check cooking time depending on the thickness of the fillets.
        • Brush regularly with the marinade left in the container of the bag.
        • Add a hint of walnut oil or sesame oil and fresh herbs from the garden just before serving. Enjoy your meal!
        • Feel free to squeeze fresh lemon juice over too! Enjoy with a nice cold glass of white wine.

         

        *3 BBQ Cooking Options:

        • Place fillets in foil, in “papillotes”, in order to braise salmon
        • Place salmon on a silicone sheet instead of placing it directly on the main grill (direct cooking)
        • Place salmon on a cedar board to promote a slow and uniform cooking, on the main grid (direct cooking)
